I graduated from the University of Texas with a B.S. in Advertising and the completion of the Texas Creative Sequence for Art Direction. I continued my education with a Master's of Mass Communications in Art Direction at the VCU Brandcenter, where I developed a deep understanding of design techniques, presentation skills, and conceptual processes.
After getting my feet wet at The Martin Agency in Richmond, I moved to NYC to become a Digital Art Director at Mcgarrybowen. I designed digital campaigns for Chase, J.P. Morgan, Marriott, and United Airlines, and worked long hours on several winning new business pitches.
I left the big agency world to lead the creative department at an up-and-coming creative media agency, Noble People (formerly Ikon3). I designed across digital and traditional channels, and managed production needs for a number of clients. I then went to Wunderman NY, where I became a Senior Art Director on Coca-Cola, E*TRADE, Goldman Sachs, and Marriott.
I am currently a Senior Visual Designer at NorthwesternMutual/LearnVest.
